1. Auschwitz - Birkenau Memorial and Museum
68 km west – south from Cracow

The Auschwitz camp, established by the Nazis in the suburbs of the city in 1940, has become a symbol of terror, genocide and the Holocaust. The total number of victims of Auschwitz in the 1940-1945 period is estimated at 1.1 to 1.5 million people. In the former camp there are still ruins of the gas chambers, miles of barbed wire fence and the railway platform where the doomed people arrived, all of which greatly impress the visitors. The tour comprises both parts of the former concentration camp – Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau – and a documentary film about the history of the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp.
Duration time: 8 hours
The tour takes approx. 3.5 hours. There is a 15-minute break during the tour, we recommend taking something to eat. Large items of baggage or backpacks (30 x20 x 10 cm) are not permitted on the Museum grounds. Baggage storage is available for a fee in the Visitor Service Centre.

2. Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour
15 km east from Cracow
DAY: Tuesday 24th of May 2016
Afternoon visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, the oldest working salt mine in Europe ! For 700 years salt is mined here without out any break, previously very precious mineral and now still necessary in every kitchen. You will be transferred by elevator 120meter below ground, seeing marvelous chapels and sculptures made out of salt during the Centuries.
You will admire the underground world of salt lakes, galleries, stairs, altars and chambers all carved in salt by many generations of Polish miners. Chapel of St. Kinga - great chamber like big church – with great collection of sculptures and bas-reliefs makes this please terrific! Please note – everything is made from the salt or in the salt. The tourists could see only 2 % of whole mine, only 3,5 km of underground routes from more than 200 km.
Duration time: approx. 3,5-4,0 hrs
Important information: the temperature in the salt mine is constant all year – about +13º Celsius grades. Comfortable sports wear and shoes are necessary.

3. Zakopane - the heart of Tatra Mountains
100 km north - west from Cracow
DAY: Thursday, 26th of May 2016
On a sunny, clear day in Cracow you should be able to see the breathtaking panorama of the snow capped Tatra Mountains located approximately 100 kilometers south from the city. But to fully enjoy the beauty of this legendary mountain range you have to take a trip to Zakopane, fashionable resort and folk centre nestled at the foot of the Tatras.
Before reaching Zakopane, you will admire Chocholow - the living village, which seems like an open – air ethnographical museum with 200 years old wooden houses and cottages – examples of unique Highlanders architecture.
Zakopane is known as a capital of winter sports and mountain tourism. It is, as well, the centre of the Highlanders culture. They cultivate their tradition, which reflects in their folk costume, traditional wooden architecture, glass paintings, etc.
Panoramic tour of Zakopane will show you most interesting places , then you are invited for lunch to explore some unknown tastes in one of restaurants served traditional local cuisine. After lunch and walk through central Krupowki promenade you will board the funicular to the top of Gubalowka Mountain – an excellent view over the Tatra Mountains awaits you...
The Tatra National Park - the Alpine type area of majestic, rocky peaks, glacial lakes in the valleys and remaining all year round patches of snow with variety of vegetation and rare animal species (lynx, deer, brown bears, eagles).
Return to Krakow late afternoon.

- Deadline for all tours and airport transfer booking is 13th May 2016. After this date booking will be subject to availability.
- All tours and airport transfers are confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from Cracow Spirit.
- We require full payment in advance otherwise booking will not be considered.
- Cancellation received by 13th May 2016 - a refund will be given less bank charges.
- Cancellation received after 13th May 2016 - no refunds will be given.
